Jordan Kahler

MEZZO SOPRANO

Jordan is a vibrant, multi-faceted performer. Gifted with a big voice and a flare for the dramatics from a young age, Jordan decided that she was going to be an opera singer!

After finishing secondary school and attaining DUX for performance in Music Extension, Jordan entered tertiary studies in musical theatre to increase her repertoire in music, singing, acting and dance. Throughout her Bachelor of Musical Theatre degree at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, Jordan played a variety of roles, including Mary in "Our Country's Good" and Grace in "Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens".

After graduating in 2016, Jordan moved to Melbourne and regularly attends many classes and private acting and vocal coachings. With the guidance of her brilliant singing teacher, Gary May, alongside being gifted an outstanding scholarship with Opera Scholars Australia for 2019, Jordan continues to pursue her operatic dreams.
