SUPPLEMENTARY

SOPRANO

Agnieshka Markwell is a classically trained soprano. Currently, she is pursuing her final semester in her Honours in Music at the University of Melbourne. Agnieshka completed her Bachelor of Music in 2023 at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Suzanne Johnston. 

Most recently, Agnieshka has been cast in the Victorian Opera’s productions of English Eccentrics (Williamson) and Il Mago Di Oz (Valtinoni). She has also been a recital performer at the Austral Salon in Melbourne. In previous years, Agnieshka  has been a part of the Gingerbread Chorus of Hansel and Gretel with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and has also shared the stage with artists such as Hugh Jackman in his Melbourne show, The Man. The Music. The Show. World Tour at Rod Laver Arena, and Dami Im in the Sidney Myer Music Bowl Carols by Candlelight in affiliation with the Australian Girl’s Choir. 

In recognition of her talent and aspiration, she was recently awarded the Warrandyte Youth Arts Award Grant to further her career in opera.
