ANNABEL NELSON

SUPPLEMENTARY

Annabel is a Melbourne-based performer and recent graduate of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music's (MCM) Bachelor of Music. This year, she will complete her Honours year for Classical Voice under the tutelage of Jocelyn Hickey. 

 In 2025, Annabel had the privilege of performing in the ensemble of Massenet’s Cendrillon, conducted by Paul Fitzsimon and directed by Johanna Allen with the Masters of Opera Performance at the MCM. She is delighted to be joining them again for their 2026 production of Puccini’s Suor Angelica as part of the Nun Chorus under the direction of Jane Davidson. 

 Annabel was a member of the Victorian Opera Youth Ensemble (VOYCE) from 2021-2022, singing in their production of Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld. Her stage credits include Polly Peachum in "The Threepenny Opera", Martha Brewer in "Arsenic and Old Lace" and the Jemima understudy in Lloyd-Webber's "Cats".
