SOPRANO

Singaporean soprano Ashley Chua is currently in her final year of her Master of Music (Opera Performance) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and holds a Bachelor of Music (Classical Voice) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Her repertoire includes the roles of Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Geraldine in A Hand of Bridge, Diane in Orpheus in the Underworld, Sesto in Giulio Cesare, Miles in Turn of the Screw, and First Wood Sprite in Rusalka. In 2019, she was awarded first place in the Royal Over-Seas League and the North of Perth Music Festival (Vocal Open). Ashley has also performed as a soloist with Freeze Frame Opera, New Opera Singapore, The Opera People and The Mad Scene.
