GRADUATE

Melbourne-based Soprano Chloe Taylor recently graduated with a Master of Music in Opera Performance in 2025, after also completing a Bachelor of Music Performance (Classical Voice), with both degrees studied at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) under the tutelage of Roxane Hislop. 

In 2024, she was awarded 1st place and ‘Audience’s Choice’ in the Melbourne Singers Inc. Vocal Scholarship competition, as well as the Crossover Champion at the Royal South Street Eisteddfod. 

Chloe is excited to be moving overseas later this year to commence further study after having recently been accepted into the Royal College of Music in London. 

Chloe's operatic credits include the role of Tjatjarrang (‘Big Sister’) in ‘Parrwang Lifts The Sky’, Lady Lorikeet/Dame Spinebill in ‘The Lyrebird’s Voice’, (Victorian Opera), Monica in ‘The Medium’, Gretel in ‘Hansel and Gretel’, Poppea in ‘L’incoronazione di Poppea’, Lucette in ‘Cendrillon’ (MCM)and Poppy/Angie in ‘The Children’s Bach’ (Lyric Opera Melbourne) for which she received a Green Room Nomination.

Musical theatre is an essential part of Chloe's artistry, supporting her creativity and versatility in various aspects of performance. Her role credits include Liza Minnelli in 'The Boy From Oz’, Sophie Sheridan in ‘Mamma Mia!’ (WMTC) and Phoebe D’YSquith in ‘A Gentleman’s Guide to Love And Murder’ (Lilydale Athenaeum & Malvern Theatre Co.)

Chloe is thrilled to be returning to OSA in 2026 and is excited for the opportunities and lessons this year will undoubtedly bring.
