Melbourne-based Soprano Chloe Taylor graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Music Performance (Classical Voice) and is currently completing her final year of her Masters of Opera Performance, with both degrees studied at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) under the tutelage of Roxane Hislop.
In 2024, she was awarded 1st place and ‘Audience’s Choice’ in the Melbourne Singers Inc. Vocal Scholarship competition, as well as the Crossover Champion at the Royal South Street Eisteddfod.
Chloe's operatic credits include the role of Tjatjarrang (‘Big Sister’) in ‘Parrwang Lifts The Sky’ (Victorian Opera), Monica in ‘The Medium’ (MCM), Gretel in ‘Hansel and Gretel’ (MCM) and Poppy/Angie in ‘The Children’s Bach’ (Lyric Opera Melbourne) for which she received a Green Room Nomination.
Musical theatre is an essential part of Chloe's artistry, supporting her creativity and versatility in various aspects of performance. Her role credits include Liza Minnelli in 'The Boy From Oz’, Sophie Sheridan in ‘Mamma Mia!’ (WMTC) and Phoebe D’YSquith in ‘A Gentleman’s Guide to Love And Murder’ (Lilydale Athenaeum & Malvern Theatre Co.)
Chloe is thrilled to be returning to OSA in 2025 and is excited for the opportunities and lessons this year will undoubtedly bring.
