SUPPLEMENTARY

Ethan Rowe is a Melbourne-based baritone currently studying a Bachelor of Science with a Concurrent Diploma in Music at the University of Melbourne, under the tutelage of Roxane Hislop. He is a recipient of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music Entrance Grant and is supported by the Mona McCaughey Scholarship.

Recent operatic credits include Cendrillon by Massenet (Melbourne Conservatorium of Music), directed by Johanna Allen and conducted by Paul Fitzsimon. Ethan has also appeared as a guest artist with Victoria Chorale in Misa Criolla and as a soloist in O Magnum Mysterium. From 2022 to 2023, he was a member of Victorian Opera’s VOYCE program, where he developed versatility across sacred and theatrical repertoire.

With over ten years of experience in Anglican choral music, Ethan currently sings as a Lay Clerk at St Andrew’s Church, Brighton. In 2026, he looks forward to being a part of Opera Scholars Australia, continuing his pursuit of artistic excellence alongside academic discipline toward a professional operatic career.
