JAsmine zuyderwyk

SOPRANO

Jasmine Zuyderwyk is a budding lyrical soprano who joined Opera Scholars Australia in 2020 and was a semi-finalist for the 2020 OSA Aria Competition.

To date, she has had opportunities to perform in several productions with the Victorian Opera’s Youth Opera including The Selfish Giant (as an understudy and a chorus member), Purcell’s Fairy Queens, and Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. She has also appeared with the Amadeus Orchestra including excepts from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, and Verdi’s La Traviata. She has worked with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra under Graeme Morton AM - performing in works such as Britten’s Hymns to St. Celica, Faure’s Requiem, Mahler’s Symphony No.2 Chorus and Handel’s Zadok the Priest.

Other highlights from recent years are working with Yvonne Kenny, Andrew Goodwin, Greta Bradman and Richard Bonynge. She is looking forward to be taking part in the 2023 season with Opera Scholars Australia.
