John Rochford

TENOR

John is studying a Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne.

He comes from a small farming community near Echuca and used every opportunity to develop his tenor range. He was a scholarship holder in the Bendigo Sacred Heart Cathedral Choir under the direction of John Hogan, and is now receiving a scholarship in the Newman College Choir under the direction of Gary Ekkel. He began voice training in Echuca under soprano Martina Richardson and now is under the tutelage of Carrie Barr.
